Fred and Nadine Success Story

Fred and Nadine moved into their new home with their three children in May 2000. “We came to Norfolk from Alliance when Fred got a new job offer,” Nadine said. “For months we spent our weekends at open houses. Then we learned about this program that could help us buy a new home in a new subdivision. This is a nice mixed-income neighborhood with residents of all ages. We have neighborhood block parties and garage sales. We’ve formed a bond.”
